Officially there is no dipstick for the Q5. I looked up the 2012, 2103, and 2014 oil filler tubes and they all have the same part number 06H-115-610E. So unless something has changed with the oil level in the sump of the new 2014 2.0T, then the 06J115611E should work just fine.

Same thing happened to me but it was the very bottom part of the dipstick it broke off while I was checking the oil unfortunately it happened right after I did an oil change so my fix was I took the oil pan off found the broken piece took it out so it wouldn't get sucked up against the filter on the oil pump causing less oil to be given too motor.
